Strategy & Finance – Finance Manager (gn)

• Strategic Financial Planning & Analysis: Create annual budgets, forecast future trends, and perform variance analysis
• Reporting: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and statutory financial statements, incl. Investor reporting
• Compliance: Ensure accounting practices align with standards (e.g., GAAP or IFRS) and support external audit processes
• Resource Planning: Monitor and track resource spend (internal and external) according to corporate investments, and establish internal financial controls
• Strategic Planning: Partner with C-suite executives to define corporate vision, long-term goals, and business growth strategies
• Market & Data Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research, industry benchmarking, and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats
• Business Modeling: Build financial forecasts, scenario analyses, and valuation models for product development and market entry
• Transformation & Implementation: Support the redesign of organizational operating models and translate high-level strategies into actionable, measurable initiatives
• Executive Communication: Synthesize complex data into clear, persuasive reports and executive presentations
• Team Leadership: Supervise, guide, and train junior staff members as part of a collaborative team of 7-10 people

• Academic Background: Completed degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
• Professional Experience: At least five years of experience in consulting, finance, fintech, or a comparable environment.
• Analytical & Strategic Thinking: Excellent structured-thinking skills and strong quantitative and qualitative analytical capabilities, with the ability to manage projects independently and develop creative solutions
• Ownership: Self-motivated, self-directed, and proactive with a demonstrated ability to develop client-oriented solutions
• Collaboration: Highly collaborative, comfortable reaching out and organizing cross-functional collaboration in a highly matrixed environment
• Organization: Exceptional organizational skills, with proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and communicate complex topics clearly to mid-level and senior audiences
• Technical Skills: Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint, particularly in data analysis, financial modeling, and executive-level presentation preparation
• AI Tools: Experience with AI tools and their practical business applications is a plus
• Language Skills: Fluent German and English, both written and spoken
